Courtney Belle Branch
Courtney believes that yoga can take many forms but a daily physical practice of perfected asanas (poses) has its undisputable benefits… Courtney has taught yoga since 2012. She is a dedicated teacher and works hard to make a comfortable space for all people to develop a basic knowledge and understanding of yoga. After moving from California, Courtney played a hand in the local Winston-Salem studio the Breathing Room, while also teaching a variety of classes at the Yoga Gallery, the YWCA, in private spaces, and most recently here at Yoga Dogz. She has been practicing for over 12 years and continues to delight in discovering the benefits of the practice along with her students.
Courtney has studied and taught various styles including meditation, restorative yoga, chair yoga, to more vigorous vinyasa flows and power yoga.
Autumn is a Winston-Salem native whose main focus during class is to create a safe, judgement-free atmosphere for students of all levels. She finds joy in helping others realize their potential and watching them grow to love their practice. Autumn believes that yoga is more of a way of life than just the physical practice of asanas (poses). She chooses to live and act from a place of love and compassion for all beings.
In November of 2015, she received her 200hr RYT certification from Ganesha’s Yoga and Wellness based in Greensboro, NC. However, she completed her training locally at the Gateway YWCA located downtown on Main Street. She also teaches at Gold’s Gym on Jonestown Rd. When she’s not teaching, Autumn enjoys being outdoors and spending time at home with her husband, stepson, their dog and two kittens.
Chloë began her yoga journey 3 years ago in the quest to combat anxiety and depression after suffering years of emotional and sexual abuse. Yoga became a gateway to awaken the Divine Energy that had been buried and reconnect her spiritual self to her physical self. No stranger to body awareness and movement, 15 prior years of ballet allowed quick growth and progression through Asana practice but it’s the spiritual awakening that led Chloë to pursue Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 with Dancing Dogs Yoga. The hot power vinyasa DDY offers, inspired by Baron Baptiste, is very physical and offers an intense work out experience while focusing on the fundamentals of yogic philosophy.
She had the opportunity to live and teach yoga in Sydney, Australia where her practice and teaching style were heavily influenced by a variety of modern yoga guru’s and influencers. The fluid connection of breath and movement are evident in her vinyasa sequencing where she offers advanced transitions and postures with a light hearted spirit and gentle yet powerfully motivated guidance. She truly believes all bodies are capable of great power when the asana is approached with true heart and a steadfast practice.
Fun fact about Chloë, she is the personal yoga teacher and girlfriend of American Ninja Warrior Neil “Crazy” Craver. The two can be seen on NBC’s hit series, globe trotting and narrating their travels through social media, or on their mats practicing and inspiring together!
Hannah did her first training in Belize studying Power Baptiste. She then carried on to study Hot Vinyasa Flow at Corepower in Washington D.C. Hannah is a student at Wake Forest University studying Studio Art and Art History. Art and yoga are her greatest passions in life. Hannah develops a fun and creative class for her students that differs every time. She specializes in hands on adjusts and assists helping students deepen their postures through physical touch. Hannah creates new playlists every week with a variety of music fit to the pace of the class. She incorporates inversions throughout practice and guides students through the steps of basic and more experienced inversions to help them to expand their practice.
Reese Wells is a RYT200 certified Power Flow teacher of the Baron Baptiste platform. Combining breath with dynamic movement this class will reach towards the collective deepness, connection found through shared practice.
Reese is a Winston-Salem native, with roots that run deep through the soil of our community. More recently, Reese went to South America, where he and another Winston local hiked and packrafted 1,500 miles through Patagonia.
